    At PRO TOOL & PLASTICS we have selected GibbsCAM as our software provider.

    GibbsCAM allows us to create geometry from your print or directly import files from

     your CAD system. It uses the latest in 3 dimensional technology which lets us see your

     part as a solid model giving us a realistic view of your mold.

 

  
                                                                                      
      From there we can create tool pallets of various cutters we will need to mill your mold.

     Once we have selected a machining pattern and tool pallet, GibbsCAM will automatically

     create a gouge free tool path from which the CNC will use to actually cut the mold. One

     of the features of this system is "part rendering" which allows us to see the tool path

     before it goes out to the machine for  100% verification.
