Vintage is any 1985 or older production leaf spring model.
Pre 1981 IFS models will be allowed in Mod Stock and Open Mod classes
Costs
Stock Classes - $5 per race class, plaques for 1st.
Mod stock/Open Mod -$20 per race class 80% payback + contingency!
Speed Run
- $10
We have a 500' professional track with Pro starting tree and electronic
finishing.
Racer suggestion - Tape in one ski loop for better beam break at the finish!

Vintage Grass Drag Rules
General Safety Rules
1. All drivers must wear helmets.
2. Tether cords are required.
3. Clutch guards are required.
4. Snow flaps are required and must touch the
ground when driver is seated.
5. Drivers must be 16 years or older, parental
permission required if under 18.
6. No alcohol use by the drivers allowed.
7. Track stands with backs must be used any time
track is spinning in the elevated position.
8. Race officials have the right to disallow
racing by any driver or sled deemed unsafe.
Stock Class Rules
1. No engine modifications allowed.
2. No chassis modifications allowed.
3. Must have stock exhaust system. Stock dual
exhaust with canister allowed but no stingers or aftermarket pipes.
4. Must use OEM style ignition.
5. Studs and cleated tracks are allowed. They
will be inspected for safety!
6. Comet Duster and Comet 102C allowed.
7. Air boxes may be removed
8. Sled must have stock appearing hood.
9. Stock skis must be used, no plastic or
aftermarket racing skis allowed.
10. Idler wheels may be added to STOCK
suspension.
11. Handle bar hooks and extensions allowed.
Mod Stock Class Rules
1. Engine modifications allowed (top end only,
case must remain stock) but MUST be engine for that model.
2. Chassis modifications allowed but must remain
stock appearing.
3. Stingers and aftermarket pipes allowed.
4. Aftermarket ignition allowed.
5. Studs and cleated tracks are allowed. They
will be inspected for safety!
6. Any clutch allowed.
7. IFS models allowed that were built by the
factory prior to 1981.
8. Sled must have stock appearing hood.
9. Plastic or aftermarket racing skis allowed.
10. Idler wheels may be added to suspension.
Open Mod Class Rules
1. Any modified production or factory race
chassis 1985 or older.
2. Motor does not have to match chassis but needs
to be vintage, 1985 or older.
3.
Motor modifications allowed, top and bottom ends.
4. Any style pipes allowed.
5. Hoods are not required but clutches must be
enclosed by a safety guard.
6. Must have race qualified track (EXAMPLE. Wahl
Brothers Cleated) They will be inspected for safety!
7. Safety vests and tethers are required to race
Open Mod Class sleds.
Anderson/Wahl chassis's not allowed in
Open Mod.
If we can get 2 sleds of this nature to commit, I
will create a "Heavy Mod Class" to run in.
